WAR AND PEACE

This film is an epic documentary journey of peace activism in the face of global mititarism and war. Dramatically framed by the murder of Mahatma Gandhi fifty years ago, the film argues that religious fundamentalism and "patriotism" are two sides of the same coin. In the war-torn wastelands of the world, memories of Gandhi seem like a mirage that never was, created by our thirst for peace, and our very distance from it.
