This bag is handmade with soft cotton canvas, by resource poor women in Punjab. It is block printed with the message of 'Be Happy' as that is the principle with which the producers live their lives amidst great odds of survival and violence. 

You can carry this bag to work, for daily shopping or just an outing as its light, and can be folded into a handbag too. What's more, this bag can be hand washed and would last you a long time before you have to throw it. You could also just reuse the cloth as a duster in the house before you really really put it into the garbage. Since its made of fabric, the material is completely biodegradable and not harmful for the environment.
