Peppermint

The high menthol content of peppermint imparts a distinctive cooling flavour to teas, candy, jams, chutneys, and cool drinks. Dried peppermint leaves are also used to make potpourris or air fresheners. Medicinally, it is used to treat gastric and digestive disorders, nervous tension and insomnia.
